Jeremy Sneed’s NFL Week 3 Picks

Thursday Night Football @ 7:25

Houston Texans (2-0) @ New England Patriots (2-0)

-Considering that Gronkowski still might play, and that 3 rd Round draft pick Jacoby Brissett

might be starting, many people might think the Pats are going to lose. I am not one of them. Bill

Belichick knows how to win no matter who is starting behind center and I think this week will be

no different.

Final Score: 23-17

Sunday Noon Games

Arizona Cardinals (1-1) @ Buffalo Bills (0-2)

-The Bills have underperformed through their first two games this season leading to their 0-2

record. It doesn’t get any easier for them as they host the Cardinals who are coming off of a 40-

7 beat down of the Bucs. I think the same thing happens to the Bills this week as the Cardinals

improve to 2-1.

Final Score: 41-12

Oakland Raiders (1-1) @ Tennessee Titans (1-1)

-The Raiders offense has been dynamic but their defense has been dismal to say the least. With

that being said, I think the Raiders offense will be able to carry them to a victory this week

against the Titans.

Final Score: 37-27

Cleveland Browns (0-2) @ Miami Dolphins (0-2)

-I wish I could say that I think the Browns will upset the Dolphins, but I just can’t do that. I

think that Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins will pick up their first win of the season this week.

Final Score: 24-12

Baltimore Ravens (2-0) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)

-The Baltimore Ravens are 2-0? The only thing that seems crazier than that is saying they will

be 3-0. Well I’m a believer that they will be 3-0 after this game. I think the Jaguars are too

inconsistent on both sides of the field.

Final Score: 26-17

Detroit Lions (1-1) @ Green Bay Packers (1-1)

-I am taking a huge risk in fantasy by not stating Rodgers this week because I think he is going to

torch the Lions in this game. The Lions are dealing with some key injuries and I think the

Packers D-Line will smother Matthew Stafford.

Final Score: 31-10

Denver Broncos (2-0) @ Cincinnati Bengals (1-1)

-This game should be a very entertaining one between the Broncos and Bengals. When it comes

to predicting who will win I believe in Trevor Siemian! The Broncos are 2-0 with the Rookie

QB and I believe they will improve to 3-0 this week.

Final Score: 24-20

Minnesota Vikings (2-0) @ Carolina Panthers (1-1)

-The Vikings are planning to be without Adrian Peterson for this game. But, they are 2-0 with

virtually no productivity from AP in the first two weeks. I do think though that the Panthers are

going to be good for the Vikings in this game and get the easier victory at home.

Final Score: 42-21

Washington Redskins (0-2) @ New York Giants (2-0)

-Josh Norman will cover Odell Beckham Jr. in their first matchup since their infamous fight in

week 7 of last year. The Redskins though have more to worry about than OBJ. There is an

apparent divide in the locker room with Kirk Cousins, Jay Gruden and the rest of the team. I

think the Giants will take advantage of that and improve to 3-0.

Final Score: 35-27

Sunday Afternoon Games @ 3:05

Los Angeles Rams (1-1) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1)

-The Rams were able to upset the Seahawks in one of the biggest upsets in NFL history. But I

think the magic will run out this week when they travel to Tampa Bay. I think Jameis Winston

will bounce back from his career-high 5 turnovers last week to lead the Bucs to victory.

Final Score: 37-17

San Francisco 49ers (1-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (1-1)

-The Seahawks were upset by the Rams last week in one of the worst NFL games in the past

decade. I think they will bounce back and get a much needed victory over their divisional rival

49ers.

Final Score: 21-10

Sunday Afternoon Games @ 3:25

New York Jets (1-1) @ Kansas City Chiefs (1-1)

-This might be the hardest game to predict this week. I am going to put my money on the New

York Jets as long as Matt Forte can keep finding the end-zone. I think he will and that will help

the Jets lock up an important second win.

Final Score: 19-16

San Diego Chargers (1-1) @ Indianapolis Colts (0-2)

-The Chargers offense has been electric so far this season and has lead them to their 1-1 start.

The Colts are struggling on all aspects of the game. In my upset of the week, I think the

Chargers will get their second win of the season because of the emergence of Travis Benjamin

and Melvin Gordon.

Final Score: 30-20

Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) @Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)

-This game will be much more entertaining than we thought coming into the season because of

the play of Carson Wentz. I still think that the Steelers are too good though and will win this

game. I do think that the Eagles will keep it close throughout most of the game.

Final Score: 31-27

Sunday Night Football @ 7:30

Chicago Bears (0-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (1-1)

-The Chicago Bears looked downright horrible in Monday Night’s loss to the Eagles. Following

that, Jay Cutler will miss 2-3 weeks, Danny Trevathan had surgery and Lamarr Houston will be

sidelined for a while. I think that the Cowboys will shutout my Bears… I am not happy

predicting that but I am trying to be realistic.

Final Score: 37-0

Monday Night Football @ 7:30

Atlanta Falcons (1-1) @ New Orleans Saints (0-2)

-The last time the Saints hosted the Falcons on Monday Night Football was when Steve Gleason

blocked the punt for a touchdown in the Saints return from Hurricane Katrina aftermath. That

moment was so historic that they even built a statue to commemorate that moment. With that in

mind, I think the Saints will pick up their first win of the season in what should be an

emotionally driven contest.

Final Score: 34-21
