Jeremy Sneed Week 6 Picks

Thursday Night Football 7:25
Denver Broncos (4-1) @ San Diego Chargers (1-4)
-While the Broncos did look pretty bad last week against the Falcons, things will much easier this week. The Chargers defense and the offense’s inability to close has led to their 1-4 start. I think the Broncos will get back to their winning ways Thursday with an easy win against their divisional foe.
Final Score: 34-16

Sunday Noon Games
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-3) @ Chicago Bears (1-4)
-This is a really tough for me to predict because the Bears have actually looked pretty decent since Brian Hoyer took over, but they are still 1-4. The Jaguars defeated the Colts before going on their bye week so they should have plenty of confidence. I think the Jaguars win this game, but very narrowly.
Final Score: 27-24

San Francisco 49ers (1-4) @ Buffalo Bills (3-2)
-The 49ers are finally letting Colin Kaepernick again. The only problem is that they are playing on the road and against the 3-2 Bills. Sorry Kaepernick and sorry niners fans but I think the Bills will win this week.
Final Score: 28-20

Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) @ Washington Redskins (3-2)
-This is a really tough game to predict now that the Eagles actually lost a game. It doesn’t help that the Redskins have won three games in a row. I am a believer in Kirk Cousins though, so I am going to pick the Redskins this week over the Eagles.
Final Score: 24-21

Cleveland Browns (0-5) @ Tennessee Titans (2-3)
-This could be the best opportunity for the Browns to get their first win of the season. But the Titans have started to play some good football lately following Marcus Mariota. Sadly, I think the Browns lose again this week.
Final Score: 32-21

Baltimore Ravens (3-2) @ New York Giants (2-3)
-This is another really tough game to predict because both teams have very up and down this season. The Ravens started 3-0 but have lost back-to-back. The Giants have looked great at times and poor other times. I think the Giants pull out a big win this week at the Meadowlands to even their record up at 3-3.
Final Score: 23-18

Carolina Panthers (1-4) @ New Orleans Saints (1-3)
-The Panthers lost a close one Monday night but did so without Cam Newton. With Cam Newton likely back this week, I think the Panthers will get back to their winning ways this week.
Final Score: 41-31

Los Angeles Rams (3-2) @ Detroit Lions (2-3)
-I picked the Rams last week and they lost…so I don’t really know how I feel about picking them again this week. I think with the Lions signing Justin Forsett, their running game will be elevated. Also, Theo Riddick had an insane game last week. I am going to pick the Lions this week.
Final Score: 33-27

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) @ Miami Dolphins (1-4)
-The Steelers is absolutely electric and is going to be too much for the Miami Dolphins. In the easiest game to predict this week, I am going to pick the Steelers over the Dolphins.
Final Score: 42-20

Cincinnati Bengals (2-3) @ New England Patriots (4-1)
-I think the Bengals really needed to beat the Cowboys to have the momentum and confidence to take down Brady, Gronk and the Patriots. I believe the Patriots will improve to 5-1.
Final Score: 37-27

Sunday Afternoon Game 3:05
Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) @ Oakland Raiders (4-1)
-This is that classic matchup of a good defense against a better offense. The Chiefs normally good but has been torn apart a couple times this season. The Raiders offense has been consistently explosive this season. In this matchup I’m a believer in the explosive Raider offense. I think Carr, Cooper and Crabtree will get the job done.
Final Score: 39-30

Sunday Afternoon Games 3:25
Atlanta Falcons (4-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
-Part of the reason why I haven’t had any upset picks so far is because almost all of the games this week will be very entertaining and are hard to pick. This game is no exception. The Falcons have already beaten the Panthers and Broncos this season but now face the Seahawks. I am no completely sold on the Falcons because last season they started 5-0 and didn’t even make the playoffs. I am going with Seattle this week because they are at home.
Final Score: 23-16

Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Green Bay Packers (3-1)
-This is the hardest game for me to pick this week by far. While the Packers are 3-1, they don’t really look like what a 3-1 Packer team would look like. On the other hand, the Cowboys have been awesome this year with rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott running the show. I think the veteran presence of Aaron Rodgers will outlast #DakAttack and the Packers pull out a tough, close win.
Final Score: 27-22

Sunday Night Football 7:30
Indianapolis Colts (2-3) @ Houston Texans (3-2)
-In another battle of veteran quarterback versus young quarterback in Andrew Luck and Brock Osweiler, I am going with experience once again. I am going with the Colts in what I guess could be construed as an upset pick.
Final Score: 30-23

Monday Night Football 7:30
New York Jets (1-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (2-3)
-In the finale of week 6, we’ve got the Jets who have now lost Eric Decker for the season due to rotator cuff surgery. On the flipside, we have the Cardinals who were able to win last Thursday night with Drew Stanton at quarterback. I think the Jets have too many inconsistencies all over the field and I predict a Cardinal win in this one.
Final Score: 34-20

Jeremy Sneed Week 5 NFL Picks

by Jeremy Sneed

Thursday Night Football 7:25
Arizona Cardinals (1-3) @ San Francisco 49ers (1-3)
-The Cardinals have yet to rule out Carson Palmer for this Thursday night matchup. Assuming he doesn’t play, I think the 49ers will put out an important win against the divisional foe Cardinals. Final Score: 23-20

Sunday Noon Games 12:00
Chicago Bears (1-3) @ Indianapolis Colts (1-3)
-Well, my Chicago Bears picked up their first win of the season last week against the Detroit Lions. Sadly, I am still not a believer. I think the Colts offense will dominate against the Bears defense and help them to victory. Final Score: 27-17

New England Patriots (3-1) @ Cleveland Browns (0-4)
-This is the easiest game to pick probably this entire season and this why: Brady is back. Tom Brady is back for the Patriots and his favorite target Rob Gronkowski is finally 100% healthy and this will lead to a blowout road win. Final Score: 52-10

Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) @ Detroit Lions (1-3)
-The Eagles are undefeated and coming off of a bye week, so everyone will be healthy. I think this is a bad combination for the Lions who are just 1-3. I think Wentz leads the Eagles to a 4-0 record. Final Score: 31-16

Tennessee Titans (1-3) @ Miami Dolphins (1-3)
-This is a very tough game to predict because both teams are equally bad. In this battle of bad teams, I think the Dolphins will come out on top. I think the defense will get to Mariota and force him to turn the ball over. Final Score: 24-20

Washington Redskins (2-2) @ Baltimore Ravens (3-1)
-Hopefully people are starting to jump off the Ravens bandwagon after their loss last week because I really don’t the Ravens are that good. It doesn’t help the Ravens that the Redskins have won two in a row and are on fire offensively. All this being said, I think the Redskins will win their third straight game this week. Final Score: 30-18

Houston Texans (3-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (4-0)
-This has the making to be one of the most exciting games of the week. It won’t be exciting because of offense, rather the defenses will make this exciting. In the battle of defenses, I think Sam Bradford and the Minnesota Vikings will remain undefeated and continue their stellar season. Final Score: 17-13

New York Jets (1-3) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1)
-I think the Steelers are going to blow out the Jets due to three reasons: Le’Veon Bell, Big Ben & Antonio Brown. I don’t believe that the Jets will be able to contain this big three and the Steelers cruise yet again in a blowout victory. Final Score: 45-22

Sunday Afternoon 3:05 Game
Atlanta Falcons (3-1) @ Denver Broncos (4-0)
-I already predicted that the other two undefeated teams would win this week, and I will make a clean sweep by picking the Denver Broncos this week. I think Paxton Lynch looked really good filling in for Siemian, so if Siemian can’t play, I don’t see an issue there. Plus, the Broncos defense is insanely good. Final Score: 28-27

Sunday Afternoon 3:25 Games
Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (3-1)
-I have to pick a major upset this week, but this is my first upset pick of the week. I just have a strange feeling that Andy Dalton and AJ Green will go off this weekend and the Cowboys will struggle to answer back. Final Score: 35-25

Buffalo Bills (2-2) @ Los Angeles Rams (3-1)
-I’m not exactly sure if this would be considered an upset because they are 3-1, but I am picking the Rams to win and advance to 4-1. I just think the Rams defense is too good, and the Bills offense is too inconsistent. Final Score: 26-21

San Diego Chargers (1-3) @ Oakland Raiders (3-1)
-The Chargers again should have won last week as they blow a 13 point 4th quarter lead against the Saints en route to their third loss. I don’t think things are going to get any better for the Chargers as I predict a Raiders victory. Final Score: 41-31

Sunday Night Football 7:30
New York Giants (2-2) @ Green Bay Packers (2-1)
-This game is a very intriguing game. The Packers are coming off of a bye week, while the Giants are dealing with an Odell Beckham Jr. problem. With the distraction that is OBJ, I think the Packers will roll over the Giants and coast to an easy prime time victory at home. Final Score: 35-14

Monday Night Football 7:30
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-3) @ Carolina Panthers (1-3)
-It is time for my upset of the week: Tampa over Carolina. Regardless of whether Cam Newton or Derek Anderson starts this game, I think the Panthers are falling down a slippery slope and the Buccaneers are going to capitalize on that. Final Score: 24-23

Jeremy Sneed NFL Week 4 Picks

Thursday Night Football 7:25

Miami Dolphins (1-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (1-2)

-I would love to be able to say that I think the Dolphins will win, but they should be 0-3 if it wasn’t for a missed FG from the Browns last week.  I think the Bengals get a much needed in this week at home.       Final Score: 34-23

Sunday Morning Football In London 8:30 AM

Indianapolis Colts (1-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (0-3)

-In my upset pick of the week, I think the Jacksonville Jaguars will get their first victory of the year in London.          Final Score: 27-24

Sunday Noon Football

Tennessee Titans (1-2) @ Houston Texans (2-1)

-The Texans will most likely be without JJ Watt for the rest of the season but I don’t think that will matter too much this week.  I think the Houston offense is strong enough to hold off the Tennessee Titans this week.            Final Score: 24-14

Cleveland Browns (0-3) @ Washington Redskins (1-2)

-The Redskins are riding high after getting their first win of the season especially because it was against the divisional rival Giants.  Even though rookie QB Cody Kessler looked pretty good last week, I think the Redskins will easily win this one and improve to 2-2.  Final Score: 37-17

Seattle Seahawks (2-1) @ New York Jets (1-2)

-This game is tough to predict because the Seahawks are dealing with a multitude of injuries to Russell Wilson and Thomas Rawls.  The Jets turned the ball over 8 times against the Chiefs last week including 6 interceptions from Fitzpatrick.  With that being said I believe in the Jets this week and think they will get the victory.            Final Score: 20-17

Buffalo Bills (1-2) @ New England Patriots (3-0)

-The Patriots are 3-0 and have done it without Rob Gronkowski, Tom Brady and a third string rookie QB (for one game).  Now that Gronkowski is going to be a 100% for this one, it doesn’t matter who the Patriots start at quarterback because I am still going to pick them to win this week.         Final Score: 35-21

Carolina Panthers (1-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (2-1)

-The Panthers currently have as many wins as they had all of last season.  The Falcons are 2-1 after dropping 45 points in New Orleans on Monday night.  I think the Panthers will bounce back and pick up a huge road win against the divisional opponent Falcons.  Final Score: 29-22

Oakland Raiders (2-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (3-0)

-I think this is going be the most interesting game of the week.  The Ravens are undefeated but have yet to beat a good team.  The Raiders aren’t necessarily a good team but they are much better than the Jaguars, Browns and Bills.  I think the Raiders offense will be too much for the Ravens and they pull off the upset.            Final Score: 37-30

Detroit Lions (1-2) @ Chicago Bears (0-3)

-To put it lightly, the Bears stink and I don’t think it’s going to get any better anytime soon.  With the fact that the Bears cannot win at home, I think the Lions will win this one.

Final Score: 34-17

Sunday Afternoon Football 3:05

Denver Broncos (3-0) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2)

-I really thought the Buccaneers were going to be pretty successful this season, and they still might.  But, the Broncos defense is on another level and now the offense is starting to put up big numbers.  I think the Broncos remain undefeated and win big in Tampa.  Final Score: 42-20

Sunday Afternoon Football 3:25

Los Angeles Rams (2-1) @ Arizona Cardinals (1-2)

-Even though the Rams are 2-1, I am still not a believer.  Even though the Cardinals offense looked dreadful last week, I think they will muster up enough offense to get past the tough LA defense.    Final Score: 27-14

New Orleans Saints (0-3) @ San Diego Chargers (1-2)

-The Saints are coming off of a heartbreaking loss Monday night on their 10th anniversary of returning to the Superdome post Hurricane Katrina.  The Chargers on the other hand have a very strong offensive output this season but don’t have much of a defense.  With all that being said I think that Sean Payton, Drew Brees and the Saints get a much needed win this week on the road and avoid a 0-4 start.        Final Score: 45-37

Dallas Cowboys (2-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (1-2)

-Fans and critics alike all want to see Colin Kaepernick get some playing time instead of Blaine Gabbert.  Even if they do play Kaepernick, the offense has too many inconsistencies to handle the #DakAttack and the Dallas Cowboys.  I think the Cowboys will improve to 3-1 with a solid road victory.         Final Score: 29-13

Sunday Night Football 7:30

Kansas City Chiefs (2-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1)

-The Steelers got embarrassed by the Eagles last week losing 34-3.  But now they are getting Le’Veon Bell back and I think the Steelers will get back to their winning ways Sunday night.  Final Score:         31-20

Monday Night Football 7:30

New York Giants (2-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (3-0)

-You might tell someone that the Vikings are 3-0 and they would say, “Well yeah with that defense, Bridgewater, AP…”  You cut them off and let them know that Bridgewater is hurt and AP is hurt and that Sam Bradford is leading them.  Whatever the Vikes are doing it’s working and they think they will improve to 4-0 this week because I think their defense will smother Eli Manning and the Giants offense.        Final Score: 27-16

NFL Week 3 Picks

by Daniel Hartmann

TEXANS (2-0) AT PATRIOTS (2-0)

This week three match-up would have been my most anticipated game of the week if Jimmy Garoppolo hadn’t been hurt. He was though, so we’re going to see a rookie quarterback going against one of the scariest defensive lines in the game. For the Texans, Brock Osweiler makes enough throws to win a game, and Lamar Miller is severely underrated, even with his new contract. The Patriots D is good, but not good enough to make up for Brissett’s first game.

FINAL- Texans 24- Patriots 16

CARDINALS (1-1) AT BILLS (0-2)

The Cardinals are a Super Bowl contender, even after a week one loss at home to the Patriots. The Bills are not. Carson Palmer has weapons galore. Tyrod Taylor has an injured Sammy Watkins and…. I’ve got nothing. Patrick Peterson shuts down Watkins, and we see another Arizona Blowout.

FINAL- Cardinals 42- Bills 16

RAIDERS (1-1) AT TITANS (1-1)

This game is disappointing to me. I wish we could have seen this one in week 8 or 9. This is a match-up of two up and coming teams with vastly different styles. Oakland will try and stretch you vertically with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. The Titans will beat you by exhausting you with repeated runs up the middle and a few play-action fakes a game. Titans run game beat’s Oakland’s pass game. And the Titans D is better than Oakland’s overall.

FINAL- Titans 20- Raiders 14

BROWNS (0-2) AT DOLPHINS (0-2)

The Dolphins might be the most frustrating team in football. For two quarters they look like the best team in the game, and for the other two quarters, they look like the worst. Oh, look at that! The Dolphins play the actual worst team in football this week! Corey Coleman is fun to watch, but that’s about it for Cleveland, and on top of that, he broke his hand. Yay Cleveland.

FINAL- Dolphins 27- Browns 17

RAVENS (2-0) AT JAGUARS (0-2)

Mike Wallace was one of the more underrated pickups in football this offseason. The guy is a burner off the edge, and Joe Flacco can get him the ball a couple times a game. Blake Bortles is like a young Flacco. The arm strength, the mobility, the touch, but not the decision making. The Allen’s should have a bounce back game as well. At some point I’m going to look dumb for continuing to support the Jaguars, but I’m sticking with them for now.

FINAL- Jaguars 31- Ravens 27

LIONS (1-1) AT PACKERS (1-1)

The Lions dropped a tough one last week to the Titans, but don’t put the blame on Stafford. You’re not going to win a game when you commit that many penalties. The Packers lost to the Vikings on MNF, so they come into this one on short rest. At some point, Aaron Rodgers will look like Aaron Rodgers again, and when it happens, everyone who doubted him is going to look silly. I think that happens this week.

FINAL- Packers 24- Lions 17

BRONCOS (2-0) AT BENGALS (1-1)

Poor Bengals. Back to back against bruising defenses, and top AFC contenders. AJ Green got shut down last week, but here’s to saying that it won’t happen again. The Broncos have already handled Cam Newton and Andrew Luck. Unfortunately for the Bengals, Andy Dalton isn’t on their level. Bengals lose another close one.

FINAL- Broncos 20- Bengals 18

VIKINGS (2-0) AT PANTHERS (1-1)

I’ve been saying it since the preseason. The Vikings have the best defense in football. They’re 2014 Seahawks good. Super Cam made an appearance last week though, and Kelvin Benjamin is the difference maker that he needs. Plus you can never forget about Greg Olsen. And I haven’t even mentioned Peterson’s injury yet.

FINAL- Panthers 23- Vikings 16

REDSKINS (0-2) AT GIANTS (2-0)

If there’s a must win game this week, the Redskins are looking at it. The Eagles and the Giants are off to undefeated starts, and the Redskins need this one against a division rival. Unfortunately, they’re not going to get it. Eli Manning has too many weapons with the emergence of Sterling Shepherd, and Janoris Jenkins is already living up to his contract.

FINAL- Giants 37- Redskins 21

RAMS (1-1) AT BUCCANEERS (1-1)

Yes, I’m biased against the Rams. But last week’s matchup against Seattle was a typical Rams game. Beat up a bad offensive line, make a few good throws, and hope the special teams can win you a game. The Bucs made me look bad last week, but it won’t happen again. With Doug Martin hurt, look for Jameis Winston to abuse a slow-starting Rams secondary.

FINAL- Buccaneers 25, Rams 13

49ERS (1-1) AT SEAHAWKS (1-1)

I told you the 49ers were better than people thought this year. Here’s the chance to prove it. The worst line in football, with an injured Russell Wilson? Blaine Gabbert gets replaced at the half by Colin Kaepernick, who leads the comeback win.

FINAL- 49ers 17- Seahawks 10

JETS (1-1) AT CHIEFS (1-1)

I like the Jets this year. The offense can spread the ball to all of its playmakers, and the defensive line is the deepest in football. The Chiefs on the other hand, brought back Captain Checkdown last week in Alex Smith. Jamaal Charles is back, Spencer Ware is good, but Revis shuts down Maclin, and that’s where the game is decided.

FINAL- Jets 27- Chiefs 17

CHARGERS (1-1) AT COLTS (0-2)

Melvin Gordon. Where were you last year? Gordon’s emergence gives this team the balance it needs. Travis Benjamin is showing his game-breaking abilities as well. For the Colts, the defense is just too bad for Andrew Luck to carry every game. Is it a stretch to call this my upset of the week? Technically the Chargers come in to this one as the underdogs.

FINAL- Chargers 31- Colts 27

STEELERS (2-0) AT EAGLES (2-0)

The only undefeated match-up this week except for TNF, I’m expecting a blowout in this one. The Eagles line is good, but it’s not that good. Carson Wentz hasn’t seen a defense like the Steelers yet either. Big Ben on the other hand, has unknown guys like Sammie Coates stepping up and putting up monster numbers. The Steelers depth is scary. They’re winning the Super Bowl this year.

FINAL- Steelers 34- Eagles 17

BEARS (0-2) AT COWBOYS (1-1)

Watching Monday Night Football last weekend was illuminating. As a former Rams fan, I now realize that Chicago fans have it just as bad right now. No Jay Cutler makes this worse. Or better. Your choice. The Cowboys on the other hand, could be 2-0 if Terrance Williams understood basic football rules. Dak Prescott uses the play-action threat of Ezekial Elliott to put up big numbers against a Swiss cheese defense.

FINAL- Cowboys 28- Bears 17

FALCONS (1-1) AT SAINTS (0-2)

Monday Night Football this week features two explosive offenses from the NFC South. I think the Saints defense showed something last week against the Giants. They only gave up 16 points to Eli Manning and co. The Falcons have given up an average of 29.5 points a game. Drew Brees’ offense gets there at the half to pull the Saints out of the winless ranks.

FINAL- Saints 48-Falcons 31
